EuroSkills Herning 2025, Europe's largest vocational skills showcase, ran September 9-13 at MCH Messecenter in Herning, Denmark, with 597 young professionals from 32 countries competing in 38 disciplines. The Web Technologies category (Skill 17) featured prominently, with 28 participants tackling complex digital projects focused on full-stack development, including responsive web apps, database integrations, and API management.

The web technologies category spotlighted digital proficiency, with 12 participants developing database-integrated web solutions amid real-world simulations.
AustrianSkills 2023, the national vocational skills competition organized by SkillsAustria, took place from November 23rd to 26th across various regional centers in Austria. This event drew approximately 270 vocational students competing in 29 categories, with a strong focus on IT and digital skills to prepare participants for industry demands. The web development track, in particular, challenged entrants to create responsive applications integrating databases and APIs within tight timelines.
